4.14 CM.i, HPM.i, HPM.d and CM.d cooling systems
Cooling sets are intended for use in air conditioning and
ventilation systems with air cooling. The air to be processed
must be chemically inert, free of caustic, explosive sub-
stances and viscous and fibrous oily suspensions.
Cooling sets are an integral part of KLIMOR EVO modular
air handling units.
HPM.i and HPM.d type cooling systems are made as revers-
ible heat pumps. This allows for both heating and cooling
functions.
CM.i and CM.d are systems that work exclusively as a cool-
ing system.
HPM.i and CM.i systems are based on smoothly controlled
DC Inverter compressors and work on R410a refrigerant.
HPM.d and CM.d systems are based on Digital Scroll com-
pressors and work with R407c refrigerant.
Both types ensure smooth regulation of cooling capacity
and electricity demand.
For proper operation of the cooling system, the right
amount of air and its parameters are required.
The table below shows the minimum air volumes depend-
ing on the size of the AHU and the number of rows of ex-
changers occurring as condenser and cooler.
A larger number of rows allows to receive/give back a power
with less air. All data refer to the summer period (cooling op-
eration) and the outlet air temperature of 24°C due to less
favourable operating conditions
When the delivery of Klimor does not include the control
system, these are also the minimum air volume at which the
HPM/CM heat pump system work permit may be issued.
