5.  Install the water dump valve 

body and valve back into the 
pod skirt as one unit. Verify cor-
rect orientation of the valve and 
seating into skirt tube.

NOTE

Valve orientation allows breathing gas and water to exit the pod 
when installed correctly.

6.  Insert purge sleeve into purge 
tube, as shown (insert photo). Make 
certain the direction of the sleeve is 
correct and that it is pushed all the 
way into the purge tube.

7.  Insert these two parts together 

into the tube of the pod skirt 
until they are against the ex-
haust valve and water dump 
valve body. Proper fit will show 
no signs of bulging or dis-
placement on the tube with 
alignment of the tube pointing 
upwards.

NOTE

Step 8 cannot be completed until the Kirby Morgan Balanced 
SCUBA Regulator is installed into the pod. See “Mounting Open 
Circuit Regulators” on page 16.
