 N4373D Lightwave Component Analyzer, User’s Guide

5. Making sure not to

 

turn the adapter,

 

screw it finger

- 

tight onto Port B.

6. Holding the

adapter with the

spanner wrench

from the

calibration kit

(part number

08513-20014), use

the 20mm torque

wrench from the

calibration kit

(0.90 N.m/8 lb.in,

part number 8710-1764) to tighten the adapter.

7. Remove the dust cover from Port 2 of the 2-port network

analyzer, or from Port 4 of the 4-port network analyzer. 

Remove the dust cover from both ends of the flexible test

port cable (part number N4697-60200 or 85133-60017).

8. Making sure not to turn the female to female adapter, and

 

tightening finger

-

tight, connect the test port cable to Port B

 

on the optical test set, and to Port 2 on the 2-port network

 

analyzer, 

or 

to Port 4 on the 4-port network analyzer.
