Set the Cal Out voltage (V
Cal Out
) to +400.0 mV as follows:

Click
Utilities > Calibration Output...
.

Change the Signal Output function to DC.
c
Set the Level to 400.0 mV.

Configure the oscilloscope to measure the average voltage on the channel
under test as follows:
a
Make sure the channel under test is enabled.
b
Click
Setup > Acquisition...
. In the Acquisition dialog box, enable averaging and
set # of Averages to 256.
c
Change the vertical scale to 10 mV/div.
d
Set the offset value of the channel under test to 400 mV.
e
Drag and drop the Average voltage measurement icon onto the waveform.

Press
[Clear Display]
on the oscilloscope, wait for the number of averages to
return to 256, and then record the DMM voltage reading as V
DMM+
and the
scope V avg reading as V
Scope+
in the Offset Accuracy—Offset Gain Test section
of the Performance Test Record.

Change the offset value of the channel under test to -400.0 mV.

Set the Cal Out voltage to -400.0 mV.

Change the vertical scale to 10 mV/div.

on the oscilloscope, wait for the number of averages to
return to 256, and then record the DMM voltage reading as V
