Replacing Assemblies
Removing and replacing the acquisition boards/backplane/MSO assembly

Disconnect the power cable, top panel, and bottom panel as described
previously.

From the top side of the oscilloscope, remove the eight cables connected to the
backplane board. One of these cables is the IC fan cable, circled in the photo
below. It is toward the bottom of the backplane board, so look down the board
to see it and then follow the cable up to where you can disconnect it.

Remove the four screws on top of the backplane board.
