Removing the backplane assembly from the acquisition assembly

Remove the entire acquisition/backplane/MSO assembly as described in the
previous section.

Remove the four M4 screws (two on each side) from the rear panel of the
assembly (six M4 screws if the oscilloscope has the hardware serial trigger
option or is an MSO model, as shown below). When replacing the screws,
torque to 18 in-lbs.

Remove the rear panel.

Loosen both ends of the two semi-rigid cables at the clock splitter. When
tightening them, torque to 8 in-lbs.
