Creating your first Exploratory Hole
This section of the guide leads you through setting up your first project and will introduce you to some of the
common ways KeyLogbook works for data entry.
The following steps will take you through creating a project and completing your first exploratory hole. The
exploratory hole created is very shallow it will show you how each of the data entry items work. It is recommended
that you follow the procedure outlined the first time you use the program. Once completed you should be confident
to create a second exploratory hole and enter any data you wish.
Project Screen
On opening KeyLogbook you will see the project screen as shown below. From this screen you may either import
or create new projects importing details of which are found in section 7 for now we will create our own project by
tapping the
Create
button
You may have multiple projects active on KeyLogbook but you can only
have one project open at any one time.
