protocol
The protocol to use for the trigger's messages:
•
0 (
lan.TCP
)
•
1 (
lan.UDP
)
•
2 (
lan.MULTICAST
)
N

Details
The LAN trigger listens for trigger messages from either protocol but uses the designated protocol for sending
outgoing messages. After changing this setting,
lan.trigger[N].connect()
must be called before outgoing
event messages can be sent.
When the
lan.MULTICAST
protocol is selected, the ipAddress attribute is ignored and event messages are sent
to the multicast address 224.0.23.159.
Example
print(lan.trigger[1].protocol)
Get LAN protocol to use for sending trigger
messages for LAN event 1.
