Configuration with PC software
- PC connection
PC configuration software can also be used for commissioning.
1) Connect HART modem to both ends
of
resistor as shown below
.
2) Open the software. Enter the HART modem port number
and click the “set” button. When communication is completed successfully, ID, Version
No and Product Name will appear in the boxes.
3) By selecting other tabs such as the sample below, you can set any parameter. Any action
requires “READ” parameters from the main unit, before changing values (pressing the
“ENTER” key may be required to set value changes) and clicking “WRITE” to the main
unit.
