10. Energy-saving and environmental awareness
n
A contaminated refrigerant condenser causes an increased level of power consumption.
Clean the condenser as described on page 38 “Maintenance and cleaning”.
n
High room temperatures, direct sunlight, or installing the equipment near a heat source
(stove, heater) increases the power consumption.
n
Do not open the door unnecessarily.
n
Inspect the condition of the door seal during regular maintenance schedules.
n
A cooling temperature set too low, increases the power consumption!
11. Disassembly, decommissioning, disposal
1
Switch off the juice dispenser.
2
Disconnect the mains power plug, rollup the cable, attach it to the juice dispenser, and se-
cure it.
3
Disassemble and remove the juice dispenser for transport in reverse order as described in
the installation sequence, see page 21 “Installation & connection”.
4
Close and secure the doors to prevent accidental opening.
Disposal of the old equipment
In many cases, very valuable materials remain in the old electrical and electronic equipment.
However, they also contain hazardous substances that were necessary for the function and sa
-
fety of the equipment. If added to residual waste or treated incorrectly, these substances may
cause a health hazard or damage the environment. Never include your old electrical and elec
-
tronic equipment with your residual waste.
Therefore, use suitable collecting points provided by your community in order to return and re-
cycle electrical and electronic parts. Ensure not to damage the pipes of your refrigeration unit un-
til it is ready for transport and shipped to an appropriate environmentally friendly waste dispo-
sal site. And this will ensure that the cooling media contained inside the refrigeration circuit and
the oil inside the compressor will not be drained accidentally and escape into the environment.
Keep children away from the old equipment until it is ready for transport to the waste disposal
site. Read the information provided in this Operating Manual on page 7 “Safety”.

If you have any questions regarding waste disposal/recycling, please contact the ma-
nufacturer!
