Removing and installing the battery with a battery roller stand
Requirements
– Park the truck securely, see page 58.
– Battery disconnected.
Tools and Material Required
– Cantilevered truck, hand pallet truck (capacity min. 1.8 t)
– Square key
– M10 spanner
– M12 open-end spanner
– Battery roller stand (capacity min. 1.8 t)
Procedure
• Open the front panel (45).
• Undo the battery latch (49).
• To do this, pull the battery latch
(49) upwards and remove the
locking plate (46) attached to the
clamping yoke (48) from the
battery tray.
• Set the locking plate (46) down
on the left next to the battery tray
opening.
• Release the M12 pressure screw
(44) from between the battery tray
(50) and load section on either side of the truck.
Z
The screws secure the battery tray and prevent slipping.
• Drive the battery roller stand (50) up to the side of the battery tray (53).
