-Motor (FMLA Head)
After the motor has been replaced, it is absolutely necessary to re-input the adjustment of distance
between head centers, MS parameters related to the axis home, Z-axis height, laser, head offset
and mounting general offset.
(For details of input items, see section 2-9.)

(1) Follow steps (1) to (7) in section 2-1-1 to detach
the upper cover of the head.
(2) Remove two head-up SPs.
(3) Remove the mounting screws

(5) Remove the Z sensor dog IC

and the nozzle outer shaft IC from the detached

-motor.
(6) Reassemble the components in the reverse order
of disassembly.
(7) Check following the procedure described on the
next page and make adjustments if necessary.
Note
Carefully remove the IC-motor so that the window on the
LA unit is not scratched.
Additionally, carry out the above work so that the slider is
not removed from the LM guide rail. Failure to do so may
cause balls inside the slider to jump up. of grease, and
then mount the head.
