14-4-9. I/O Control Board Assembly (40001943)
[Functions]
This board receives signals input from each sensor and outputs relevant control signals to other
boards.
This board also relays the cables to the MTC.
[Jumper switch settings]
The jumper switches and DIP switches have already been set at delivery. However, check that
they are set as shown below before setting the I/O control board assembly in the control unit.

About W5 setting
Set “Open” when the board Rev. is “01” or “02.
Set “Short-circuit” when the board Rev. is “03” or later. SW

Function Rev. and pattern Rev. of the board are set on the SW 4. Normally, do not change the
switch settings.
The following is a sample setting with pattern Rev. 1 and function Rev. 1.
[Front panel SW]
RESET SW:
Resets this board.
ABORT SW: Sends NMI to the host CPU.
Do not operate these two switches.

[Adjustment items after replacement]
If the version of the ROM mounted on the new board is different from that on the old board or if
no ROM is mounted on the new board, remove the ROM from the old board and mount it on the
new board.
After that, follow the steps below to update the FLASH memory.

Select [Options] and [Change User Group], and then select [Serviceman].

Select [Maintenance] and [MS Parameter Setup].

Select [Others], [Version-up], and [I/O].
