DSM2▋Binding▋Method
Following is the explanation how to bind the transmitter and receiver, read very carefully.
1)
On the receiver, connect the servos and prepare charged
batteries.
※ Note: DO NOT connect the electric motor ESC or start up
the engine before bind setting is completed. The motor
may abruptly start or the engine speed may increase
suddenly, causing serious danger.
2)
Next, perform “bind” so that the receiver can recognize
the transmitter ID. Insert the bind plug into the BIND
terminal of the receiver, connect the batteries for the
receiver (or when a switch harness is used, turn ON the
power). Confirm that the receiver LED starts to blink.
The LED continues to blink until the bind process has
finished.
※ For receivers which have a combined bind and battery
port - apply power at any free port on the receiver.
3)
While pressing the bind button on the transmitter
module, turn ON the RF output of the transmitter.
Take your finger off the bind button and confirm that the
LED is blinking and then wait for the LED to turn off,
then back on. At this time, the fail-safe function of the
throttle channel is set, so be sure to set the throttle stick
to the lowest speed position.
4)
The bind is completed when the LEDs of the transmitter
and receiver become lit solid. If the receiver LED remains
blinking, try the bind procedure again.
5)
Turn off the receiver and disconnect the bind plug which
has been inserted in the receiver. Also turn OFF the
transmitter.
6)
Connect the servos to the receiver and confirm operation.
After turning ON the power of the transmitter, turn ON
the receiver.
When the receiver LED lights up and the receiver
recognizes the transmitter, operation will start.

Troubleshooting
・Is the remaining battery power of the transmitter and
receiver adequate?
・ Is the distance between the transmitter and receiver too
close?
・When the procedure is carried out on the top of a desk
or bench that is made from metal, binding may not be
successful.
Make sure to set fail safe after completion of the binding
After bonding is completed, make sure to set fail safe
using the Fail Safe function on the transmitter and
check to see if the fail safe works properly.
