Output chute
How to clean up chute
1. Mark with warning sign after completely stop
2. Be sure that drum has be completelt stopped
3. Clean up all material jammed through side window
4. If material jammed can not be cleaned up through side window, you have
to disassemble the chute. before disassemble the chute, make sure chute is
firmly hooks by crane or fully supported.
5. As the chute is disassembled, material jammed will be dismissed.
Danger, Do not try to blow material jammed away by speeding up chipper,
which is dangerous.
7. Fix all part back in return and start with small parts.
Make sure the output chute is hooked by crane or supported beneath before
disassembling chute.
Make sure of wearing protectives, in order to protect operator from cutting
or scalding due to blades or high temperature.
The blockage is mainly caused by a low engine rpm or a fast drop down of engine
speed. The chipper runs at less than full speed, or the blade becomes blunt and
cannot cut effectively, or materials are too soft and moisture, which may cause the
drop down of drum rpm, or material cannot be cut into pieces. If the feed is
automatically controlled, the starting speed must be set high enough to prevent the
occurrence of low speed.
