6. Open the refrigerant manual blow valve. For the location of the refrigerant manual blow valve
(VB), see Figure 75. The refrigerant in the evaporator is diverted into the absorber.
7. Observe the liquid level at the lower part of the evaporator through the level gauge (G102).
8. Immediately after the refrigerant liquid level appears in the level gauge (G102), close the
refrigerant manual blow valve (turn it to the right until it stops).
9. Press the Refrigerant Pump
Stop
button on the setting screen. See Figure 64.
10. The refrigerant pump stops. Run the solution pump independently for 10 minutes.
11. Press the Forced Dilution

button on the setting screen. See Figure 64. The solution pump
stops.
12. Press the Refrigerant Pump
Auto
button on the setting screen. See Figure 64.
13. Keep this condition for 30 minutes. The solution liquid level in the high-temperature generator
gradually rises.
14. After the solution liquid level in the high-temperature generator shows full, close the two
manual valves (V2 and V3):
a. V3 on the weak solution line from the low-temperature heat exchanger to the solution
flow control float valve in the high-temperature generator.
b. V2 on the strong solution line from the high-temperature heat exchanger to the solution
spray pump.
15. Set each Cooling or Heating changeover valve and manual valve to residential hot water supply
mode. See Table 30.
16. Press and hold the operation mode
Heating
button for 15 seconds. The button is located on
the setting screen. See Figure 64.
17. Press the RHW only operation
ON
button on the setting screen.
18. While the chiller-heater is stopping, purge the purging tank, see
condensable gas from the purge tank
19. Close all of the manual valves in the purge line (VC and V15).
20. Press the Purge Mode
Auto
button on the setting screen.
