Alarm codes
The following table contains the alarm codes for the controller, the name of the failure that
triggered the alarm, the cause of the alarm, and the action needed to correct the problem. The
codes are the same for both mechanisms covered in this document.
Table 29: Alarm codes
Alarm code
Failure name
Cause
Corrective action
AL01
PV input failure (over-range)
AL02
PV input failure (under-range)
Sensor burnout
Incorrect wiring
Incorrect PV input type setting
Check the wiring
Set the PV input type again
Cold Junction (CJ) failure
Terminal temperature is faulty (thermocouple)
Check the ambient temperature
AL03
PV input failure RTD 1
Sensor burnout
Incorrect wiring
Check the wiring
AL05
RSP input failure (over-range)
(Displayed in RSP mode) 2
AL06
RSP input failure (under-
range) (Displayed in RSP mode)
Sensor burnout
Incorrect wiring
Incorrect RSP input type setting
Check the wiring
Set the RSP input type again
AL07
Motor Feed Back (MFB) input failure
Burnout
Incorrect wiring
Check the wiring
Check the MFB input valve
AL10
Motor adjustment failure
Burnout
Incorrect wiring
Power for motor is shut down
Check the wiring
Adjust the motor after checking power for the
motor.
AL11
CT input failure (Over-range)
(CT input 1,2, or both) 2
A current exceeding the upper limit of the display range
was measured.
The number of CT turns or the number of CT power wire
loops is incorrectly set. Or, the wiring is incorrect.
Use a CT with the correct number of turns for
the display range
Reset the number of CT turns
Reset the number of CT power wire loops
Check the wiring
AL70
Analog to Digital (A/
D) conversion failure
A/D converter is faulty
Replace the controller unit
AL95
Parameter failure
AL96
Adjustment data failure
Power is shut down while the data is being set
Data is corrupted by noise
AL97
Parameter failure (RAM area)
AL98
Adjustment data failure (RAM area)
Data is corrupted by noise
Restart the unit
Set the data again (set data for AL95/97 and
adjustment data for AL96/98)
Replace the controller unit
AL99
ROM failure
ROM (memory) is faulty
Reset the controller unit
Replace the controller unit

CT: Current Transformer
Hot water control valve
Press the display key to view the following:
•
Upper display:
The hot water control valve opening (shown as a percentage) or Fb (feedback
value is indicated in the lower display)
•
Lower display:
The control target of the hot water control valve (shown as a %), the control
output to the hot water control valve (shown as a %), or the feedback signal through the
potentiometer (shown as a %)
