SECTION 6. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS AND OPERATOR MAINTENANCE
6.1
INTRODUCTION
This section of the manual provides additional necessary
information to the operator for proper operation and main-
tenance of this machine.
The maintenance portion of this section is intended as infor-
mation to assist the machine operator to perform daily
maintenance tasks only, and does not replace the more
thorough Preventive Maintenance and Inspection Schedule
included in the Service and Maintenance Manual.
AVOID PRESSURE-WASHING ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS. IF
PRESSURE-WASHING THE MACHINE IS NEEDED, ENSURE MACHINE IS SHUT
DOWN BEFORE PRESSURE-WASHING. SHOULD PRESSURE WASHING BE UTI-
LIZED TO WASH AREAS CONTAINING ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC COMPO-
NENTS, JLG INDUSTRIES, INC. RECOMMENDS A MAXIMUM PRESSURE OF 750
PSI (52 BAR) AT A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 12 IN (30.5 CM) AWAY FROM
THESE COMPONENTS. IF ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS ARE
SPRAYED, SPRAYING MUST NOT BE DIRECT AND ONLY FOR BRIEF TIME PERI-
ODS TO AVOID HEAVY SATURATION.
