Performing a Full Software Update
Preparations:
Visit https://www.jerseyjackpinball.com/support/ and
download the latest full POTC software update (.ISO file). If you have
not already done so, download the UNETBOOTIN utility for Windows
or Macintosh.
Tools Required:
Personal computer
8 GB (min) USB memory stick
The full software update is also referred to as a factory reinstallation of game software. At times, a full software
update will be the only method for updating your game, as critical, underlying operating system changes are often
required.
1)
Insert an 8 GB USB memory stick into an empty USB slot in your personal computer. WARNING: All data on
the USB stick will be erased during this process!
You should see a new
Removable Disk
under
My Computer
(Windows) or a new Drive on your Desktop (Macintosh), as shown in figure E2.
2)
Run the UNETBOOTIN application. The UNETBOOTIN window (shown in figure E3) will open.

Select the Disk Image option, then click the ‘ ... ‘ button (both are circled in figure E3). Locate and select the
POTC ISO file you downloaded from the Jersey Jack Pinball® website.
4)
Ensure that the USB Drive is selected under Type and the USB stick you inserted earlier (“ E:\ ” in this example) is
selected under
Drive
(both are circled in figure E3).
5)
Click the OK button to begin the copy/burn process, which will take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete
(depending upon the speed of your computer). Again, all data on the USB stick will be erased during this process.
