Digital outputs
The device has two digital outputs that:
·Are electrically isolated from the evaluation elec-
tronics via optocouplers.
·Have a common reference.
·Require an external auxiliary voltage.
·Can be used as impulse outputs.

INFORMATION
Functions for the digital outputs can be set with
a good overview using the GridVis® software
(see www.janitza.com).
INFORMATION
When using the digital outputs as pulse outputs,
measurement errors can occur due to residual
ripple. For the supply voltage (DC) of the digital
inputs and outputs, use power supplies whose re-
sidual ripple is less than 5% of the supply voltage.
ATTENTION
Connection errors can damage the device and
cause material damage.
The digital outputs are not short-circuit proof! Con-
nection errors can therefore lead to damage to the
connections.
Make sure that the wiring is correct when con-
necting the outputs.
