Measuring method

The device:

 ·Measures without gaps and calculates all RMS 

values over a 200 ms interval.

 ·Measures the true RMS value (TRMS) of the volt-

ages and currents applied to the measurement 
inputs.

3.10  Operating concept

You can program the device and retrieve mea-
sured values in several ways:

 ·

Directly on the device

 using 6 button and the 

display.

 ·Using the 

GridVis® programming software.

 ·Using the 

device homepage.

 ·The 

Modbus protocol

 can be used to change 

and retrieve data with the help of the Modbus 
address list. This list is available via the device 
homepage.

3.11  GridVis® network analysis software

You can program the device and read out data 
using the GridVis® network analysis software 
available at www.janitza.com. To do so requires 
that a PC be connected to the device via a serial 
interface (RS-485 / Ethernet).

The GridVis® network analysis software allows 
you to:

 ·Program the device.
 ·Configure and read out recordings.
 ·Analyze the data that has been read according 

to EN 61000-2-4.

 ·Save data to a database.
 ·Display measured values graphically.
 ·Program customer-specific applications.
