14.8 Battery
The internal clock is powered by the supply
voltage. If the supply voltage fails, the clock is
supplied by the battery. The clock provides date
and time information for records, min and max
values and events, for example.
The life expectancy of the battery is at least 5
years at a storage temperature of +45° C. The
typical life expectancy of the battery is 8 to 10
years.
The battery (type CR2450 / 3V) can be replaced
by the user.
