With the power takeoff shaft in the position
as shown in fig. C, force the cover downwards
by simultaneously pressing locks 2 and 3 in-
wards with the aid of a punch or screw driver.
With all 3 locks loosened, cover 1 will slide
over cover 3, which may then be removed.
Remove the circular lock 4 and separate cov-
er 3 from the pipe.
Repeat the operations as indicated in figures
C and D on the side of the constant speed
universal joint and separate its components.
Clean all of the parts with the aid of a brush,
using kerosene or Diesel and water and dry-
ing all of the parts thereafter.
