After the equipment has been used for an
extended period of time the need will arise
to do maintenance on the anti-drip valves on
the nozzle holders.
We present in the table below the problems
that may arise as well as the indications, the
causes and correction:
Bijet nozzle holder
Problems Causes Correction
Valve does not seal
a. Nut (1) loose.
b. Impurities on the diaphragm.
c. Diaphragm rupture.
d. Diaphragm rupture with later
dumping of the product.
a. Tighten nut (1). Do not use
tools, only hand tight will do.
b. Remove and clean the dia-
phragm.
c. Replace the diaphragm.
d. Replace the diaphragm and
clean the plunger set.
Leakage between
the core and
nozzle holder
a. Lack of (2) seal.
b. (2) seal damaged.
c. Nut (1) loose.
a. Put in seal (2).
b. Replace seal (2).
c. Tighten nut (1) with your
hands.
Leakage through the
connection with the
spray tube.
a. Sealing ring (3) missing.
b. Sealing ring (3) damaged.
c. Nut (4) loose. a. Replace seal (3).
b. Replace sealing ring (3).
c. Tighten nut (4).
Leakage through the nozz-
le holder and the nozzle.
a. Nut (5) loose.
b. Filter (6) base damaged. a. Tighten nozzle nut (5).
b. Replace filter (6).
