8. On irregular ground, repeat this opera-
tion several times and take the average.
9. Stop the tractor with the acceleration
used to move the 50 meters or 164.04 ft,
open the nozzles and adjust the pressure
according to directions for the different
types of nozzles.
10. Use the calibrator bottle to collect the
nozzle spray volume during the same
time taken to move the 50 meters, and
read on the column corresponding to
the nozzle spacing.
11. Repeat this operation with several nozz-
les to obtain an average volume.
12. The average obtained will be the spray
volume for the gear and pressure alrea-
dy determined.

NOTE:
To make this calibration valid, the operator must spray at the same speed used dur-
ing calibration. When the electronic controller is in “automatic” mode, any displace-
ment speed variation will be compensated by the controller.
