11.2.1 CONTROLLERS __________________________________________________________
The mower’s electrical system is monitored and controlled by the controller found beneath the operator.
The mower engine is monitored and controlled by the engine controller found on the right side of the mower in front of
the radiator screen. Two CAN bus connectors are found near the engine controller. The four pin connector is for the
Kubota Engine Controller (ECU) diagnostic connector. The three pin connector is for the mower’s controller (MCU)
diagnostic connector.
LTS Lights The relay is included with the light harness kit 4312306. The relay controls the operation of
the work and road lights.
K15 Run Circuit
Cutout
When the ignition switch is turned to START position, the relay disables the mower run cir-
cuit.
K16 Auxiliary The relay supplies power to the auxiliary circuit with the ignition switch in RUN position. The
relay disables the auxiliary circuit with the ignition switch in the START position.
K17 Ignition The relay supplies power to the gauges, the mow circuit, the 4WD circuit and the seat
switch circuit.
K18 Hydraulic Oil
Level
When the hydraulic oil-level switch indicates a leak, the relay activates the alarm.
NOTICE
For factory help with the Mower Controller problems, give the hardware revision and software version found on the
mower’s controller. The replacement controllers with higher revision levels will be compatible.
For factory help or replacement of the Kubota Engine Controller, give the engine model and serial number found on
a plate on the engine valve cover.
