An alternative solution is to install the Dunking Transducer on a small tow fish providing a
depressor effect, which will help keeping the transducer as deep as possible, navigating in
good hydrodynamic conditions and looking downwards to the subsea Acoustic Release
deployed on the seafloor.

OWERING THE
TT801
Once the various devices are connected and the dunking transducer is deployed in the
water, the operator can switch on the TT801 cabinet.
At power up, the configuration of the TT801 is displayed for 3 s.
You can check the serial number of the device, the software version and the battery
voltage.
A
DSP standby mode
optimizes the autonomy of the unit.
This standby mode is
activated if no action is applied to the TT801 unit for a 20-min time.
Press any key to
resume from the standby mode.
After quitting the standby mode, the main screen is posted up. The former display is lost
and backlighting returns to default mode (ON).
