ARM + CMD commands (RT9xx, AR9xx, RT8xx, AR8xx, RT6xx, AR7xx)
The following figure sums up the procedure to perform:

The TRANSMIT SETTINGS display opens.
To configure the various parameters
according to the built sheet of the instrument to
command, perform the following procedure:
Step Action
1.
Select the type (
TYPE
) of the instrument to be actuated using
SCROLL
key and confirm
the selection by pressing
ENTER
key.
2.
Select the type of transmission (
TRANSMIT TYPE
) using
SCROLL
key, according to
individual built sheet of the beacon and confirm the selection by pressing
ENTER
key.
The type of transmission is normally
ARM + CMD
.
3.
Enter the hexadecimal
ARM
code using the alpha-numerical keys and confirm by
pressing
ENTER
key, then enter the hexadecimal command code (2
nd
byte only) and
confirm by pressing
ENTER
key.
4.
Indicate to the TT801 which type of command will be sent to the instrument:
•
For AR/RT8xx, AR/RT9xx: Release, R Pinger, Pinger ON, Telemetry
(Diagnostic), Other CMD
•
For RT6xx: Release, Pinger ON, Telemetry (Diagnostic), Other CMD
•
For AR7xx: Release
Selection is made with
SCROLL
key and confirmation with
ENTER
key.
The RECEIVE SETTINGS display opens according to the command type
,
except for
AR7xx unit that does not transmit any acoustic reply. With AR701, TT801 operation
skips to step 7.
