Enter the
TURN AROUND TIME
(Refer to beacon built sheet) i.e., the turn-around delay
of the beacon (between 0 and 200 ms), and confirm by pressing
ENTER
key. Use
CLEAR
key to erase a wrong capture.

Enter the TT801 receive parameters according to the reply parameters of subsea
transponder:
•
If the type of transmission/interrogation is
IIF
(or
FR2
for RT6xx), you must configure
the
CRF
(
FT2
for RT6xx):
Choose the receive type (
MONO
or
MFSK
) using the SCROLL key then press
ENTER key to confirm.
Choose the
frequency
(8 to 16 kHz) by using the
SCROLL
key or the numerical
key for the
MFSK code number
(0 to 23) of the CRF. Press
ENTER
key to
confirm.

If the type of transmission/interrogation is
CIF
(or
FR1
for RT6xx), you must
configure the
IRF
(or
FT1
for RT6xx):
Choose the receive type (
MONO
or
MFSK
) using the SCROLL key then press
ENTER key to confirm.
Choose the
frequency
(8 to 16 kHz) by using the
SCROLL
key or the numerical key for
the
MFSK code number
(0 to 23) of the CRF. Press
ENTER
key to confirm.
9.
Select the type of the information to display (
RANGING
):
DISTANCE
or Elapsed
TIME
using
SCROLL
key and press
ENTER
key to confirm.
Upon completion of the operation, TT801 displays the message “
STORAGE
COMPLETED
” and return to the
MAIN MENU
display.
