Installing Internally Mounted Batteries

)

To install an internally-mounted backup battery in an ADIX-VS system:

Remove the front panel.

Install the batteries PE-12V0.8 in the VS-KSU.

Connect the batteries to the connectors marked BAT1 and BAT2 on the VS-PWSU power
supplies as illustrated in Figure 33 with cable provided. The cable is keyed and can only fit
in one direction.

Caution!

Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or

equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose used batteries according to the
