filter
The following description applies to all material types with the exception of zirconium oxide.
When processing zirconium oxide milling jobs, refer to the section “Special procedure to
process zirconium oxide”, page 81.
NOTICE! Processing zirconium oxide after e.max without prior manual cleaning / tank
change.
Damage to the zirconium oxide block.
Perform manual cleaning when processing zirconium oxide after milling jobs of the
material type “e.max”.
Use the additional tank for zirconium oxide.
Observe the notes on filling.
Main tank is not suitable for zirconium oxide.
The following description applies both to the initial start-up and to the subsequent cleaning
and maintenance of the tank and filter during operation.
It is not necessary to remove the filter on the initial start-up.
The tank is equipped with a double bayonet closure:
•
Half turn of the tank lid:
When opening the tank, the filter remains attached to the tank lid and can be removed
together with the lid. A half turn is suitable for water change.
•
More than half turn of the tank lid:
When opening the tank, the filter remains attached to the tank. More than a half turn is
suitable for filter change.
If the device is switched off, or if the device has detected a low water level and further
processing of milling jobs has stopped automatically, the tank will be automatically unlocked.
The device can only be operated with a full tank and a filter. Otherwise an error message is
given by the device.
The filter on your device may look slightly different from the filters illustrated in this manual.
