•
Remove the 4 screws securing the motherboard to the bottom of the chassis
and the 2 nuts on the DVI-D connector (see picture).
•
Remove and store the motherboard in an antistatic wrapper.
To install a new motherboard (of the same type as the replaced one):
•
Set any jumpers as the replaced board (refer to the motherboard user’s
manual).
•
Install the processor into its socket, the heatsink with fan cooler and the DRAM
memory modules (follow motherboard user’s manual instructions).
•
Align the holes on the motherboard with the spacers on the bottom of the
chassis and fasten the motherboard screws and the nuts on the DVI-D
connector.
•
Restore the cabling.
•
Close the back cover.
