1000i DSS Console Installation
The 1000i DSS provide 24, or 48 additional flexible buttons. The flexible buttons on the DSS are used as with
the flexible buttons on the phone proper and can be assigned for any of the flexible button functions.
All DSS can be placed on your desktop or can be wall-mounted with the phone.
The available DSS are shown in the below and described as follows.
1024idss
has 24 flexible buttons with tri-color LED. The DSS uses a paper label for the button
designations.
1048ilss
has 2x24 flexible buttons with tri-color LED. The LSS uses an LCD for the button labels and
has two flexible button pages to represent 48 total flexible buttons. The two lower buttons control the
page view. The page button LED will flash when there is new activity under a button on the page. You
can press the page button at any time to change the flexible button page view.
1048idss
has 48 flexible buttons with tri-color LED. The DSS uses a paper label for the button
designations.
Only one 1024idss can attach to an 1020i, 1030i ,1040i,1050i,1080i phone.
Up to three(iPKTS) / two(SIP) 1048ilss can attach to an 1020i, 1030i ,1040i,1050i,1080i phone, but the
1048ilss cannot use with 1024idss or 1048idss.
Up to four(iPKTS) / two(SIP) 1048idss can attach to an 1020i, 1030i ,1040i,1050i,1080i phone, but the
1048idss cannot use with 1024idss or 1048ilss.
The DSS should install on the phone before making any connections to the phone. The below simplifies the
installation for 1030i phone and 1024idss. You can install the 1048ilss and 1048idss in the same way.
