Hardware Overview
The Hand-Held and Base are the most important parts of
an InTouch network.
Status Light
— provides important feedback and
confirmation when programming the network.
The <Include> and <Exclude> Buttons
— located on
the side or edge of the Hand-Held, are used during
programming to add or remove devices as part of the
InTouch network.
<Scene Selection> Buttons
— used to select a scene that
has been programmed into the network for activation.
The <Enter> Button
— used to activate a scene that is
programmed into the network.
The <Raise> and <Lower> Buttons
— used to raise and
lower levels of devices (e.g., dimmer switches) that are
part of selected scenes.
The <Home Button>
— has special uses explained in this
guide.
The Power Light
— tells the power status of the Base: it
pulses blue when charging the Hand-Held, lights solid
blue when the Hand-Held is fully charged, lights dim
blue when the Hand-Held is not in the Base, and blinks
red when the Hand-Held cannot be charged.
