Removing the Intel
®
RMM3
To remove Intel
®
Remote Management Module 3, follow these steps:
1. Remove the PCI riser assembly. For instructions, see “Removing the PCI Riser
Assembly” on page 41 .
2. Remove the processor air duct. For instructions, see “Removing the Processor Air
Duct” on page 46 .
3. Remove screws from the back of the chassis (see letter “A” in Figure 65 )
4. Disconnect the Intel
®
RMM3 from the connector on the server board (see letter “B”
in Figure 65 ) and remove the module out of the server system (see letter “C” in
Figure 65 ).
