OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
•
Disconnect the appliance from the electrical
mains and clean with damp soapy cloth before
use.
•
Do not splash or pour water on to the equipment.
•
Do not overload more than the stated capacity.
•
The specially designed robax glass placed in front
of the heater prevents exhaust and crude gas
(NO,CO,CO
2
) from penetrating to the meat and
ensures the seconder burning, reflect the heat
%99,9 by ensuring homogenous and soft heat
with perfect cooking quality.
•
The motor(1cycle/minute) placed into the lower
part of the body rotates the spit in the up-right or
oblique position, thus homogeneous cooking and
ergonomic usage are obtained.
•
As the spit can operate in the oblique position,
even the meat block has a conic shape, the
distance between the electric heaters and the meat
located on the spit can be fixed.
•
Each heater is controlled separately (horizantal or
vertical) on two stages (low-high) by the side
buttons.
•
Machine burning should be started from the upper
radiant by automatic ignition.
•
User should take great care, and use "cooker caps
and gloves" during operation.
WARNING :
The appliance should be used by
qualified personnel.

OPERATING
•
Place the meat block inside the equipment.
•
By loosening the top and bottom arms, you can
adjust the distance of the meat block to the
heating elements.
•
Two horizontally arranged radiants each are fed
by one gas cock.
•
In order to perform the initial firing (upper
radiant), press button "5", turn it anti-clockwise,
set it to "min. flame" position, and hold it pressed
until the radiant ignites.
•
Light the pilot by pressing the lighter "4". Release
the button after radiant ignition. In order to light
the other upper radiant, press the button, set it to
"max. flame" position, and release it after heater
ignition. In this way, you will operate the heaters
of the upper line.
•
In order to light the radiants of the bottom lines,
press button "3", turn it anti-clockwise, and set it
to "min. flame" position first, then to "max.
flame" position, and hold it pressed until the
radiant ignites.
•
In order to put the spit into operation (rotation),
put the plug on the equipment into a socket (not
that one on the equipment), and turn switch "2"
(I-0-II) into either position "I" or "II" (turning to
the right / left).
NOTE:
According to the customer request, you
can realize the spit revolving process through an
electrical foot pedal that’s provided optionally.
•
If you wish to cut the roasted meat with an
electric knife, there is a safety socket at the back
of the equipment.
•
Once the meat block is roasted enough, it is ready
to serve.
7.
SECURITY PRECAUTIONS
•
Do not leave the equipment without supervision,
switch it off while you leave the room.
•
Do not leave children alone with the equipment.
•
Do not intervene the meat block with an
instrument except döner knife during operation.
•
As a safety device, there is a thermocouple that
shuts off the gas if the flame or the radiants
extinguish.
WARNING :
Do not clean your equipment with
water or pressured steam otherwise electrical
installation can be defected.
8.
MAINTENANCE
•
Do not do any maintenance work or cleaning
when power is connected.
•
Clean the appliance with a cloth soaked in
lukewarm soapy water and disinfectant harmless
to food at the end off each working day.
•
Do not use any scrapers such as knife, wire brush
or cleaning materials that scratch your equipment.
•
If the appliance will not be operated for an
extended period of time, apply a thin layer of
vaselin on the surfaces.
•
In case of danger contact an authorised service
person. Do not let unauthorised people intervene
with the
Cleaning of Robax Glass
•
First remove any burnt-on deposits or spilled food
from the panel surface with a suitable scraper.
•
When the surface has cooled down, apply a few
drops of an approved cleaner and wipe with a
paper towel or clean soft cloth.
•
Rinse well with water and dry with another paper
towel or soft cloth.
•
Do not use abrasive sponges or scourers of any
type. Corrosive cleaners such as oven sprays and
stain removers should also not be used either.
•
Suitable cleaners are all cleaners which can be
used for ROBAX resp. glass ceramic. (Example
”Sidol für Stahl” a German product.)
