Setting up the events printout
(SmartLoop\PRN, Printer on RS232)
The SmartLoop control panel can be programmed to transmit events (generated by the control panel
or received from other control panels) to various printing devices:
• for \P models, this can be an on-board thermal printer (accessory item);
• for all other models, this can be a printer (optional) connected to the control panel RS232 port, or a
system that can receive and manage coded events.
25.1 Programming the events printout on the thermal printer
FROM COMPUTER
Go to SmartLoop System, Control panel x\P, SmartLoop\PRN, System Programming
This option will allow you to select the priority (level of importance) to be applied when sending events
to the thermal printer. Only for \P models with an on-board thermal printer (accessory item).

FROM COMPUTER
Go to SmartLoop System, Control panel x, Printer on RS 232 Port, System Programming
This option will allow you to select the priority (level of importance) to be applied when sending events
to the control panel RS232 port. The port can be linked to a printer (optional) or monitoring system
that receives and processes the data appropriately.
Printer presence
If enabled, each event generated by the control panel or received
from other control panels in the network will be sent to the RS232
port.
Print events from
The control panel will print its own events and any events received
from other control panels, in accordance with the specified priority
(level of importance).
