Programming the I/O expansion boards
(SmartLoop\INOUT)
FROM COMPUTER
Go to SmartLoop System, Control panel x, SmartLoop\INOUT, System Programming
Some installations require extra inputs and/or outputs on the control panel. In such cases, you can
install a SmartLoop\INOUT board that provides 6 inputs/outputs. Depending on the type of I/O you
may have:
20.0.1 Parameters
FROM PANEL
Not available.
Typology
NAC
NAC Outputs, identical to those present on the control panel
(refer to paragraph 19.2 The NAC outputs and the paragraph 19.1
The intermittent signals of the NAC Outputs).
Input
Supervisory inputs to be connected to devices such as detectors
(refer to the wiring diagram in the Installation Manual Figure 37 -
Supervised Input). For this type of detector fault status is
generated by Open or Shorted status. Refer to paragraph 18.1.2
Parameters Device inputs.
Conventional line
Inputs that are connected in parallel (refer to the wiring diagram
in the Installation Manual Figure 35 - Convenzional Zone), up to
32 conventional detectors (standby/alarm). For this type of
detector fault status is generated by Open or Shorted status, and
alarm status is activated by the current consumption. Refer to
paragraph 18.1.2 Parameters Device inputs.
Gas zone
Gas detector inputs (refer to the wiring diagram in the
Installation Manual Figure 36 - Gas Zone). For this type of
detector Early Warning and Alarm status are generated by values
that exceed the current consumption threshold twice within a set
period. Early Warning status is self-restorable. Refer to paragraph
18.1.2 Parameters Device inputs.
