Programming the telephone dialler
Chapter 22
Programming the telephone dialler
(SmartLoop/PSTN)
In the occurrence of specific events and/or status changes relating to the control panel, groups, zones
and/or devices, the telephone dialler will provide monitoring stations with:
• voices messages over the PSTN line;
• digital messages (e.g. using protocol such as Contact ID, SIA, etc.) over the PSTN line;
• e-mails or IP packages via the SmartLAN
over Internet
.
The telephone dialler recognizes serious control panel faults and emergency conditions, and can be
programmed to transmit the respective information to four pre-set contact numbers.
In the event of PSTN line trouble (line-down conditions), all calls will be switched to the backup
telephone line.
Note:
In order to validate the IMQ-SISTEMI DI SICUREZZA certification, delays relating to the manual
activation of the telephone dialler from a callpoint are not allowed.
