In order to measure your IAP based sound system you need this equipment:
– Personal computer (Windows 7 or later, OS X 10.6 or later).
– Sound card with a phantom powered microphone input and analog output
(e.g. Behringer U-Phoria UM2).
– Measurement microphone (e.g. Behringer ECM 8000).
– Cable: sound card – personal computer (usually USB).
– Cable: microphone – sound card (usually XLR).
– Cable: sound card – IAP analog-in.
Connect all equipment, open the sound card’s input and output settings on
the personal computer, and set both sampling rates to 48000 Hz.
Now you are ready to measure your sound system. Refer to the information
included with IAP Calibration for more detailed instructions.
