Volume Control
In order to be able to connect directly to power amplifiers or active loud-
speakers, IAP 8 features volume control, implemented digitally. Volume con-
trol is applied just before the DACs using 32 bit floating point arithmetic,
followed by a dithering process.
Room Equalization and Depth/Immersion
Each channel features gain, delay, polarity, and fully parametric equalizers.
These are usually used to calibrate the system and for room equalization.
