This setup adds two surround and two height loudspeakers to stereo. Sur-
round channels may be used to:
– Reproduce the surround channels of multi-channel recordings and movies.
– For stereo audio, IAP 8 can generate surround channels

, immersing lis-
teners.
Adding height loudspeakers above the left and right loudspeakers adds to
the perception of depth and immersion

. Sound is reproduced with more
depth in three dimensions.
