Menu: Speaker Setup
It is crucially important that you tell IAP 8, as explained
in this chapter, what the loudspeaker setup connected
to it is.

The figure above illustrates the Speaker Setup menu, displaying on the bot-
tom the currently selected loudspeaker setup.

Select (Rotary Push) enters the Loudspeaker Setup
menu and Menu exits it.

Main Loudspeakers
Choose one of the supported main loudspeaker se-
tups. The next pages describe the supported se-
tups.
One or More Subwoofers
Set Sub On if you use one or more subwoofers,
otherwise set Sub Off. To use more than one
subwoofer, copy the subwoofer channel to other
free audio channels (see Channel Copy function in
Chapter 5).
Active Crossovers
To implement active crossovers, copy the channels
used for active crossovers to other free audio chan-
nels (see Channel Copy function in Chapter 5). For
example, to implement a 2-way active crossover for
the left stereo channel, copy FL to a free channel.
The crossover filter characteristics and calibration
are implemented with gain/delay/polarity (Chapter
5) and equalizers (Chapter 6).
