2-3 pull down is a method of converting a 24-frame (24P) video into a 60- fi eld (60I) video.
This method has been used by Telecine, which converts fi lm movies to television signals since early times, and connecting to many
kinds of HDTV systems is possible as the 1080p23.98PD signal can be handled as the 1080i59.94 signals.
