Click on ‘Continue without connecting’ to reach the
main menu without connecting to an instrument.

Verify that a GEOID file is loaded.
Click on the Equip tab:
Then click on ‘6. Localization’

The Localization menu is shown:

Click on the GPS tab:
Make sure that the Geoid File
ContinentalUS_NGS2012B is listed to the right of
the ‘Geoid File:’ button. If it is not, click on the
‘Geoid File’ button:
then select the ContenentalUS_NGS2012B file which
covers the entire USA.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you choose to use G18, make
sure that the name is Continental_US_NGS2018.gsb
and NOT ContinentalUS_NGS2018.gsb. The version
without the extra ‘_’ is an errant model.

Finally click the green check mark to return to the
Main Menu.
You are now ready to configure a Base or a Rover.
