Settings.

Select the Format tab:
Most defaults will be fine.
You may want to change the default Angle Entry
and Display from Azimuth to Bearing:
Bearing “N 45 12 52 W”
Azimuth “315 12 52”

Select the New Job options tab:
Unless you setup at the same location for every job
(like a mine site) you will want to have ‘Prompt for
Units’ checked and ‘Use Last Job Localization’ and
‘Use Last Control File’ unchecked as shown.

While not required, these four settings on the
‘Options’ tab:
Check ‘Time Stamp Each Point’.
Check ‘Store GPS Accuracy in Raw File’.
Check ‘Store GPS Vectors in Raw File…’.
Check ‘Write MO(Units Record) to RW5 File’.
Each of these settings makes debugging errant jobs
simpler if anything goes wrong.

Menu’.
