IDTeck – iTDC 2~4 DOOR ACCESS CONTROLLER
Number of Door Control (2/3/4 Door Control)
The iTDC controller can control up to 4 doors with 4 readers. If controlling 2 doors, APB can be applied
to both doors. If controlling 3 doors, APB can only be applied to first door using reader 1 for entry and
reader 2 for exit. Door 2 and 3 cannot use APB function as there is only entry reader installed. If
controlling 4 doors, APB function cannot be used. (If controlling 3 and 4 doors, you must use optional
Expansion I/O board (EIO88 – Ness part No 101-003) to install Exit Button, Door Contact Sensor, Door
Relays and Alarm devices)
Input/Output
The NESS - IDTECK iTDC has built-in 7 inputs and 7 outputs (4 relay outputs and 3 TTL outputs), which
can be used to manipulate a wide variety of controls.
Optional Expansion I/O
Optional Expansion I/O board (EIO88, (Ness part No. 101-003) additional 8 inputs and 8 output relays)
can be connected to the iTDC controller. It can control additional inputs and outputs from iTDC main
controller.
Input Device Type Set-up (NO, NC)
If the input device is normal open (NO) type sensor, you have to set-up the input device type to (NO).
This gives the iTDC will activate when the input port makes short circuit to ground. If the input device is
normal close (NC) type sensor, you have to set-up the input device type to (NC). This gives the iTDC will
activate when the input port makes open circuit. All input device type can be programmed by software
program on the host computer. (This set-up is also applied to optional Expansion I/O board)
Time schedule Set-up
You can program 15 time schedules and apply one time schedule to each user. Each time schedule has 8
different time zones from Monday to Sunday (7 time zones) and one holiday. Each time zone has 5
different time codes so you can program 5 different time codes to each day. The software program on the
host computer can program all time schedules. Also you can program time schedule for individual inputs
and outputs.
Note each input (or output) can have a time schedule assigned to it. In this case the input will only be
active during this time schedule and the output can also active automatically during a time schedule. Each
time schedule is also linked to one of the holiday schedules.
Holiday Schedule Set-up
Excepting Sunday, you can program 100 holidays to one holiday schedule. Each holiday schedule is
linked to one time schedule, which has time code for holidays. So you can program all holidays to holiday
schedule and the time code for holidays is programmed to holiday time zone of time schedule.
