DEFROST
In PRODUCTION and STORAGE, the machine periodically performs automatic defrost
processes, with the aim of always maintaining the cabinet evaporator free of ice and for the
cabinet cooling to work correctly.
The defrost consists in the supply of hot gas in the cabinet evaporator. This function melts the
ice and the consequent water is collected in the lower tray.
The active outputs during the process are MC and EVRV.
There are two types of Defrost:
Automatic Defrost
The cabinet has a timer cycle linked to a cooling process. When the time programmed is
reached in step Time Cab. x Defrost
(T82), an automatic defrost activates for 140’’. Then, that
timer goes down to zero.
Safety Defrost
Is performed the third time the timer reaches zero without the cabinet having reached the set
temperature.
If two Safety defrosts are performed without the cabinet having reached the set temperature,
the display will show the message "
Manual Cleaning
" (see alarm).
