Adaptive Cruise Control with Braking –

When cruise

control is on with the speed set, the adaptive cruise
control helps the driver maintain a set following distance
behind a forward vehicle by automatically utilizing the
engine retarder and foundation brakes.

•

Collision Mitigation –

Provides audible and visual alerts

to the driver and applies the foundation brakes when the
system determines a collision with a forward, moving
