ibidi Gas Incubation System – Silver Line
5.1.3 Connection of the Humidity Sensor
To operate the ibidi Gas Incubation System – Silver Line with humidity control, the information of
the humidity sensor must be provided to the Gas Mixer.
The humidity sensor of the Incubation Chamber Slide/Dish – Silver Line is integrated in a small
cavity inside the Heated Lid (Figure
8 .) For connection with the Gas Mixer use the bridge cable
(Figure 16 ).
1. Plug the cable of the Incubation Chamber for Slide/Dish into the Temperature Controller. Make
sure that the red dots on the connectors of the cable and the slot line up and that the connector
snaps into place (also applies to steps 2. and 3.).
2. Plug the bridge cable with one end to the ”Signal Out” slot at the back of the Temperature
Controller.
3. Plug the other end of the bridge cable to the ”Sensor” slot at the back of the Gas Mixer.

Please note, that when using an Incubation Chamber 4 Slides (product numbers 12130, 12131) or an
Incubation Chamber Multiwell Plate (product numbers 12150, 12151, 12724, 12726), the connection of
the humidity sensor to the Gas Mixer is not guided via the Temperature Controller and bridge cable,
but via a separate humidity sensor cable. Please see the instruction manual version
